PHOTOSHOP: Cropping Images
In INTERNET EXPLORER
Use Google Images to locate a good, high resolution picture of each of our
historical computers
View the "Full Sized" version of the pictures
Use the RIGHT mouse button and SAVE the PICTURE to an appropriate folder in your H: drive
In PHOTOSHOP
Open an image that you want to CROP
Click on the CROPPING TOOL
At the top of the screen, Set the width to 400px, the height to 300px and the resolution to 72
Draw a box around the parts of the picture you want included in the crop
Click the green "check" at the bottom of the cropped area
Save the newly resized picture back to your H: Drive
In Open Office Writer
Place the cursor in the line where you want the picture to go
From the dropdown menu, use INSERT | PICTURE | From File
